Lewesdon Hill



Lewesdon hill is thought to be 1005 feet above sea level. This being the highest point in Dorset, even higher than Pilsden Pen which was previously thought to be 15 feet higher than Lewesdon hill.

Pilsdon

Pilsdon Pen is 909 feet above sea level but neighbouring Lewesdon Hill, until recently thought to be 15 feet shorter, is now measured to be taller than Pilsdon Pen at 1005 feet above sea level.

The wessex ridgeway is 137miles long from near Avebury, to the sea at Lyme Regis running straight past Lewesdon Hill.
